Sorry, but another "which camera to get?" thread

well i wouldnt mind spending about 180 for the rebel gII kit, i still want to have a camera that i can upgrade incase i want to explore photography further. Its a manual focus, and i think that would be best for me because ive always wanted to experiment with different focusing techniques.

someone offered me a nikon n65 with a quantaray 72mm lens for $100. I figured i better jump on this, but what is a quantary lens?

quantarrays are the lenses they sell over here in the cheaper photo shops. they are ok, but not nearly as clear and well built as nikkor or canon glass.
