Space object ..

I was practicing my night photography when this showed up. I'm pretty sure it's an object in space because it didn't move across the sky and it wasn't visible to my naked eye.Any astro buffs know what that is. That was facing East on the northern hemisphere . That was in several shots. It's interesting because it looks huge to me.

Ah there it is.I see it but no idea.astro might know.

# 1 .. a street light ?
# 2 ... Venus maybe .. as it was trailing the moon last night (I didn't look, but from what the charts have). Neptune and yUranus was out there too.

But being red ... I would think Venus.

Funny .. since I joined TPF I haven't pointed my telescope upwards in about a year+ except for Sat night .... I forgot what I was doing and what was where lol

watch me be completely wrong .. lol

It seems to change with the exposure, it's on all 4 shots there, I'm thinking maybe a lens flare of some sort.

It's was early morning May 17 .

It's weird because it's wide at the front with a trail behind it.. No lens flare I ever saw.

'ya know. I took a bunch of photos from 2:30 to about 4am Sunday morning .. probably about the same time.
I'll have to check my photos if I haven't deleted them ... haven't done it in so long i just quickly looked at them and thought they were all garbage.

I hope you find something. I even had photos low on the horizon that night that looked like some planets aligning. That was more due south. I haven't posted those. The exposures were long on those photos.
