It's that word "like" in your question. Most of us really don't "like" to spend money even on the things we LIKE.

Books, cinema, theatre, days out with my family, holidays, music, restaurants, Biergärten, museums, zoos, botanical gardens, sport, etc., etc.

I feel like that sometimes. I have to compartmentalise it into work and play. I love sunglasses, watches and fountain pens.

Well, I just spent $700 on 2 knives today. The Chris Reeves hand made sebenza with a custom one of a kind graphic was $535 on its own.

I really enjoy construction and building so, having the right tool for the job is crucial. I spend thousands each year on the right tool for the job. I make my wife crazy with new projects I want to do at our home.

I would spend more money on ammunition and fire arms but, NYs law have become so restrictive it's not worth it.

Finally, money on dinners with my wife.
