spider and another insect macro shot

i use 18-55mm kit lens without reverse ring.i don't have any macro lens.
any comment?

Well, some call them antennae, but antlerthingies is certainly more entertaining.
It looks like you just had the misfortune of shooting that first one so that the nearest antennae was pointing straight at the camera and with a small DOF, it looks like it's not even there.
It's also a little soft, but considering what you were using, that's not surprising.

Are these crops?

The spider picture is actually pretty cool, but if it were my photo, I'd rotate 90 degrees and crop a lot of the top (currently the left side) off. But if you've already cropped it pretty severely, you might be left with too small an image to do much with.

Yeah, I like that crop and rotation much better; you can lose even more off the top of it, though. You want to really get that spider to be the "main attraction."
Nice job for a kit lens.

I like the new crop of the spider, but I also like the original too, which would look great as a desktop wallpaper on your PC - you could have the icons lined up on the left, and the spider looking at you sideways on the right. He would also be good as a poster or advertisement, with large text on the left of him. Not that I can think what kind of poster you would have with a spider on it, but it would look good!
