It's actually pretty easy. I just looked up, focused the lens, spun, and clicked the shutter while I was spinning. I took several shots at different speeds until I got the one I liked.

My favorite is the one with the trees. Interesting to look at. I like how there is lots of branch detail near the center of the spin where things are less blurry. It pulls me in more than the city one does.
