I have to see it on different monitor. What equipment did you use on this shots ? Light meter ?

Dark!

Sadly, it's just too shadowed for me. The persons blend right in with the rocks...

the first thing that comes to my mind is: the first one is better... being too dark... don't know... my monitor is still warming up

They really do look better on a black background, but yes, they are dark. I'm still not sure how I feel about it.

Timor, this was a K1000 and Tri-X, and very tricky, high-contrast lighting conditions. It was sundown next to the sea, and it had just rained, so that's where the puddles came from. And the angle of the sun made the puddles very shiny.

Yup, looks like light meter got fooled, water is spot on, but I am thinking; why sky is so blank ?
