Spring Break

I hear on the grapevine that it's spring break in America. Is that right?

Is anyone doing anything?

It's past spring break for most. My boyfriend's spring break was about a month or so ago.

Oh...erm hmm. That seems quite earliy to me. I suppose spring starts ealier in America as the average temperature is higher.

 

[Corry]

Well, School is over for him in 2-3 weeks.

I didn't have spring break when I was in New Orleans, LA. But that's only because we got 3 days off for Mardi Gras and everybody else around the country was in school during that holiday lol.

ok we have 3 days off 1-3 May because of national holidays... but the shops are closed, cinemas as well.. blah.

I didn't get much of a spring break. We got off mainly for Easter; two days before and two days after. No schools around here have spring break now. Only 14 days of school left for me!

In britain we have two weeks of around the easter weekend. How long is the average spring break in America?

Yeah, my boyfriend's was a week. When I was in high school we barely got anything, but other schools did.
