I always love walking around my boyfriend's yard this time of year.

Not too bad....the first one, I'd try and take from a different angle, so you don't have the blown out sky in the background...it detracts from the photo in my opinion.

The second one, the flowers aren't in focus...and you need to have your subject in focus. Also, the perspective is somewhat bland....there are TONS of flower shots taken from above such as this one....try getting down to the level of the flowers, or even under them a bit. I do like how you have them placed down in the bottom corner of the shot, though.


Not bad, all in all! Keep shootin!

Thanks so much for your advice. I was also thinking the same about the first one. The background seemed to blend things together a bit.
