I'm pushing 60 and finding the same thing. Aggravating to say the least. Been using the tripod more, but it can cause me to miss some shots getting it set up.

Thanks, Gents! I'll let others comment on better techniques you might use for macro since I'm a beginning beginner. But for what it's worth, these were shot at 1/800 in burst mode, moving back and forth slightly for focus. I probably deleted at least 9 out of 10. But I think even a duffer like me gets lucky once in a while "buck-shotting" like that. Might be worth a try, but am sure others have better -- and more elegant -- techniques! Lee
