May '17 - I've got reservations to ride 4 Amtrak trains for a combined 6 days in a loop.
Southwest Chief • Sunset Limited • Texas Eagle • Illinois Zephyr.
Monday: Drive to Galesburg, IL (GBB)
Board Amtrak's Southwest Chief (Train #3) @ 5:38 PM - Destination Los Angeles, CA Union Station.
Wednesday:
Arrive LAX 8:15 AM.

I have a sleeper berth in a Sunset Limited (Train #2) sleeper car.
In San Antonio the SL/TE train gets split.
The SL goes on to New Orleans. The TE goes on to Chicago.
I move to the Texas Eagle (Train #422) part of the train to go to Chicago.
Saturday:

Arrive GBB @ 8:38 PM.
Drive home.
