Greetings,

Shot through the patio door with 50-200mm + ec 14. Cropped by about 1/2... just about as hard to catch as the chickadees, little bugger doesn't stay still for long :D

Cute little critter :) -- for a 'snow shot,' the exposure is pretty good. Whites aren't blown out and the shadows are not overly dark.

I too am impressed that you got this shot while shooting through a door, to snow. Well done. Love its little pose, and the smudge of snow on its nose.

Thanks for the comments.

I too am quite pleased, considering I smoke and the glass hasn't been cleaned since fall :)

The EC 14 is fairly new and I was concerned about the IQ with it but so far I'm satisfied selling my 70-300 to pay for it was a good move. Keep in mind though, a tripod for me at least, is a necessity with the combo. The 70-300 I could shoot handheld...

I don't usually go to links, but I checked out your furniture photos, Don: that's some nice looking woodworking!
