9- This statue, made in Spain in the 1400's, was brought to Santa Fe in 1625 by a Franciscan priest. This is the oldest statue of Mary in the United States.

Thanks again for looking...

I love going to that chappell and the Loretto chapel also.

You obviously went past my neck of the woods to get to SF.

Are you exploring all of NM?

Great set, beautiful photos
Thank you

I just returned from a couple of weeks in New Mexico and I'm processing the images now. I visited Tucumcari, Las Vegas, Santa Fe, Taos, Bosque del Apache, White Sands, Las Cruces and Roswell during this trip.

So you hit the I-25 and US 84/285 route...
Roswell is nice, LC is fine.
Did you stop in Hatch and get some green chilli?

Great images!

Your choice of aperture and framing in your third photo is splendid.

Very nice set! I love the architecture in those buildings and their use of bright colors. Nice job capturing them.

Very nice set, beautifully captured.

Love your work - those are stunning. How did you manage to take photos without people?

Thank you...for the most part, it requires a great deal of patience. I try to arrive right when the church opens. I also try to capture the wide shots when the opportunity presents and concentrate on the more detailed shots when the church is crowded.
