Like the idea, the sky is a bit blown for my taste. But in all honesty that is a hard shot not to blow it out. For these types of situations I have been metering off the sky to get my background and then doing a seperate shot of the darker object. Make sure you meter both and memorize your shutter speed for second shot when you take your first so you can have an identical second shot with different settings.
