Star shots

Just got back from a camping trip over the weekend. It was completely dark there so I got a chance to try some long shutter shots.

About 6 minutes here.

Also, can anybody tell me what those colorful dots are on #3 is and how to get ride of them. thanks.

#3 is either more stars. or just noise from long exposure

Edit: Oh those dots.. Lol nvm... Doesnt look like normal noise ... Maybe something from really long exposures ;x

Those are hot pixels, where part of the sensor got a bit too hot.
You can remove them with a noise removal program but you'll first need to take a long exposure at a high iso with your lens cap on as a kind of "map" for the software.

#1 is cool, but those foreground bushes are way too bright and distract the eye from the rest of the pic. the cliff in the background is ok, but those bushes gotta go next time.
