Testing out a Canon PowerShot SX530IS for travel when I don't want to take my R7 and all the lenses with me. So far not bad for a 16MP camera.

1 The parents arrived first.

7 White-wing Dove. It sang a lovely cooing song for me while I sipped my coffee.

Nice bright set!

Nice shots! I still have my old PowerShot somewhere.

Thanks! It's a nice camera so far, very lightweight camera, especially when you consider the zoom range (35mm equiv) is 24 to 1200mm.
White winged dove is cool, pink feet and the blue eye mask🤘...
I have one somewhere where the blue really stands out.

Love these guys. Starlings are raucous but I forgive them a lot because of their murmurations. All doves are pretty and sweet looking to me.

Looks like you're going to do well on your trip with this setup. 👍

Thanks! Yep. I was going to take my SX10, but it eats AA betteries like a kid in a candy store, so I found an SX350 on MPB for $85 in very good conditionand will use that. Giving the SX10 pus 8 2800mAh rechargeable AAs (the current ones are 1300mAh, so may be why they empty so fast) and a charger to one of the granddaughters who was observing out loud that she would like a better camera than the "kids" camera she has. I figure that will be a good starter camera for her.
