Stars over Blanco River + (accidental light painting)

The stars were incredible last night so my son and I headed down to the neighborhood river park and set up the tripod for some shots. We were listening for cars to avoid headlights in our shot but one snuck up on us at the most PERFECT time and highlighted the cliff behind. Which one do you like better? With headlights or without?

I'll take any editing advice for these! I'm still trying to figure out what I like best on these night shots. Also including a shot of stars only, just because Happy winter solstice!
