The total eclipse path of totality will pass directly over the Ozark National forest on the afternoon of April 8, 2024. I thinking about scouting a spot there to shoot, but I'm a bit worried about the local atmosphere. Is afternoon fog ever a thing there in April, or is it customarily cleared off by mid-morning?
Perhaps a question requiring uniquely local knowledge, but if you know, THANKS!
