The photo does not show how steep it probably was ,but the sky is a wonderful blue and the weather and colastline look lovely. Unfortunately, a 2-dimensional picture can only poorly represent how deep that dip to down there really was.

You are certainly right. An unfortunate part of shooting scenics even from up high.
