Still life in colour

Really an experiment in colour, light and texture.

I like the idea, but for me, there's a little too much going on. The pillow and the lemons & limes don't really seem to fit. I think a portrait orientation of just the flowers and curtain would have worked well.

I know what you mean, the limes and lemons are probably a little cliched. The cushion was introduced purely to damp down a distracting bright spot as the whole composition is naturally lit mainly from behind.
