It's pretty dramatic lighting, but I think it works well in this shot. I like how you can see the bridge in the background.

The focus is off. It seems like her shoulder grabbed to focus point and her face suffers for it.

agree with what has been said. I'm surprised that someone has suggested more light on the right (to her) side of her face to lessen the shadow.

Looking at it again, will you blow out her face if you increase the exposure to it? (seems a little dark with the shadows.)

Thanks for the comments. These and others I read of C+C on other's photos have helped me learn a lot this year, as I move beyond the point and click.

Definitely needs fill to lessen the contrast... too dark / too bright! But a nice try! Show's you are thinking on the right lines, at least....
