Storm clouds over beach sunset

Hi,
no pp products yet except IPhoto. I tried small amount of adjusting color, but the sunset became too fake with even just a little overall change. I cannot selectively brighten/darken.
no filters yet either, but am actively researching them.
any comment/ help appreciated.

Hmm, potentially interesting subjects.
I suggest you play with some cropping to balance the composition some more.

#2 your horizon is tilted.

Tere was a sea wall that 'hooked' and I think is distorting image. When I looked at cropping it, horizon said ok, but wil look again. Any other thoughts?
