Storm clouds over downtown (any comments?)

I took this one while at our downtown Arts Festival today because I liked the tension in the clouds. Otherwise, this is probably not the most exciting subject imaginable. Does it 'work' for anyone else?

I would make the corner of the building vertical, and I would dodge the building too.
Maybe add some mid-tone contrast to the sky:

I'm actually trying to work on this very same scenario but the clouds just aren't right over downtown. I've gotten some decent cloud pictures to play with but hopefully the clouds will turn out right over downtown before it gets later.

Okay, I've tried to apply Keith's suggestions, and here's what I came up with. I agree that the building needed to be lightened up, but I didn't like how much he'd done so. So I've tried to go somewhere between what I started with and what he ended up with.
