Love it! I don't know enough about photography to give a legit critique other than, that looks sick! I like the vantage point. It looks like maybe you were lying in the grass when you took it.
Thanks for the C&C everyone...Fanboy, love what you did with it...Trever1t, I agree..I really have got to get a handle on the haloing on my images. Tree lines are always a problem for me. This was actually stitched together from 2 vertical shots. I was going to do 3 but I got distracted and forgot... I used Hugin for the stitching.
If you have Photomatix, haloing might be lessened with adjusting the Light mode. Try setting the slider more to the right (Maximum). It's a common problem, maybe someone else has a suggestion to lessen the halo effect?
Its the Highlight Smoothing slider that should be moved to the right. If there is too much magenta in the sky it drops off around the trees, buildings, etc causing a halo effect. That has to be dealt with through color manipulation.
IF you move the higlight smoother to far with clouds like you have you will blow out your whites. Not every picture is there one solution to fix. Different images require different solutions.
Lighting slider has effect
luminance slider has effect on halo
Strength slider has effect on halo
Highlight Smoothing has effect on halo
Micro smoothing has effect on halo
Key is to adjust those untill with different combos. If you still can't get rid of it then use your original exposures and mask in that area in photoshop and it will take care of it.
