Thank you. The history of this place and the desert scenery around it totally inspires me. I'm always finding either something new, or a different way to look at what I know.

i came back to this one because I am curious. What was at that location originally? Seems odd with the bench poured into the concrete and all.

I think this was a loading area for salt from the nearby evaporative ponds. Apparently there was a railroad spur and they may have loaded up cars at this location.
