The moisture was visible in the air tonight. It was too warm for fog, but the air felt thick. I was hoping for lightning, but all I saw were a couple of very distant flashes.

I have always loved them, especially on a night with just the right conditions. It doesn't hurt that the city I live in has a large oil refinery, LNG terminal, two pulp mills, thermal, coal, and nuclear power generating stations, a port, old dry dock, and countless railyards. Just to list off the big ones.
