hahaha when I read the title I was thinking something else entirely.

Given how you left that particular color in the photo, perhaps "The Color Purple," might be a more fitting name?

I think the contrast might be too high, you're losing a lot of detail in the darker shades, like between the background and the woman's hair and the umbrella shaft.

Nice work, agree on the contrast. A little lighter, a little more mid-tone.

I like this photo, but I'm not a big fan of the selective desaturation-- I think it brings the focus to the wrong place, away from the faces. You might want to consider leaving just the umbrella saturated (not the dress) and toning it down a bit.
