So I'm not exactly new to photography but I'm newer to the Forum so I thought I would post my first picture here.

For those wondering:
D300
1/100 sec
50 mm F/1.8
100 ISO
No strobes
2 soft boxes and 1 spot
Slight blurring and clean up in Photoshop

Nice lighting the focus is a little soft for me but it looks as though some of that may be from PP.

I have two J-160's and two 36" soft box attachments for them, but how would I hook them up using the headlamp without having to worry about the flash tube being triggered? Just don't use the sync cord?
