Stylized Portraits

Tried to go for some dramatic lighting and slightly stylized editing with these, would be good to hear your thoughts

These are a pretty good take on one of the current fads in fashion - contrast to the mids, cold tones, sleek looking skin. It's not a look that I love, but you did some good work capturing a variant of it.

The photographs themselves are ok, #1 is pretty strong, #2 is weaker and #3 is just 'what the hell? a car park? really?' although I like the kid's posture and expression in #3 far and away the best.

I am not sure you hit dramatic at all with these, really.
You did manage to make him look like he has HUGE feet in the first two!
Are you going for a shadowy, moody, dark kind of feel?

I would flag that flash off in shots #1 and #2...I can see the glare it is giving...put a good-sized flag near the flash, or shade the lens better.

I'm sorry but what are you talking about? Shortest focal length available was 16mm, and the flashes don't even have TTL, they are full manual and triggered wirelessly..
