Summer Time!!!

This was a wild flower that was in the backyard. Thought I would make an attempt at making a capture. What do ya think?

I think a tighter crop would be helpful on this one. Typically square crops don't seem to work out well, but I think this would be the exception to that. However keep in mind the focal point if you do decide to crop, and watch that the center of your flower doesn't become dead center of the shot. The colors are nice and vibrant. Composition could use a little work.

I would prefer a slightly more open lens openng to blur the background just a bit more. Its still a little distracting.

I like it as it is... especially the colours here. I think that the crop is fine and I like that there are still some details visible in the background because it makes the picture more interesting.
