Ive been lookin for a flash that I can use in place of an SB600 (budget reasons) on my D5000, and as an off camera flash. As for using it on camera, Ive been lookin for somethin that will function similar to an SB600, as in working with the iTTL exposure. The description says that it will work with the D40, D40x, D50, D70, D70s, D80 and D200. So wouldnt it work with the D5000?

Any tips on a flash thats in the same price bracket that may suit my needs better are welcome. Thanks!

Somebody has to know. Id hate to buy a bunch of stuff so I can start workin with off camera flash, then have it not work together.

Im gunna bring this thread back for anyone who might be searchin for info on the PZ42X flash.

I finally got mine in the mail, and I love it. Works flawlessly with the Nikon iTTL. Very quick recycle time. Easy to make adjustments. All in all, a great piece. Very happy with it.
