The 1st version of this photo was edited with LrC and PS. I re-edited this one and used Nikon's NX software for the initial step. I first adjusted the color to look as bright and colorful without looking over baked and then cropped and straightened. I exported it as a 16 bit tiff and then added the borders with PS. I like the way Nikon's software handles color better than lightroom which is how I edited the 1st version. (jmho)

Now I am only viewing this today from my phone so take that for what its worth.

For me I like the first shot mostly due to the depth of range in the blues. The 2nd shot separates the blues from the bright reds a bit more. So for me the first shot even though its altered looks more realistic for me.

Look both are great so don't take as a negative at all. I would bet though that the 2nd shot would print up better with the deeper saturation.
