Sunset Driftwood

I've been practicing my landscapes at a local reservoir that is really rather boring and not all that amazing to look at when you are there. I read somewhere that a good exercise is to go to places you normally would find little interest and try to find at least one interesting shot.

This is one I did the other other day. Its not HDR but I did push it as far as I could. C+C welcome.

I really like the colors and detail in those rocks.
I like it but am not ready to give helpful critique yet. Geez, I've only had my camera 4 yrs, so I still have a lot to learn
