The colour is very good, indeed.
And the "cleaned up" photo (NeatImage?) is a lot better, too.
Be happy for that bird there!
It helps your composition a lot (and it only really shows in the "cleaned up" version - so that is yet another reason why it was worth a lot to edit this photo).

No not neat image. Actually I didn't go for cleaning it up...What I did, the first time, I optimized the image / compressed to lesser file size....and in the second one, I just uploaded the original one given just a little sharpening...
now, I realize, compression does amount to loss of resolution and apparently in the process, it takes in some noise as well...
