well if you spot metered to on the sun you did that fine.
The misty trees int he background are pleasing. your composition needs some improvement though. The sun is too centered and the left side of the image doesnt do anything for me. Perhaps try a tighter crop to put the sun at the 3rds intersection and accentuate the view through the bridge.

I like the second one better. The sun rays coming off the bridge is a bit more dramatic.
