I'm guessing you used flash here? I don't think the lighting in these works. There are harsh shadows, and in the first the shadows of the grass blades make her skin look splotchy and dark. In the third the pose makes it look like she has to go pee.

What's up with her right arm in #2? It's not a shadow but her forearm looks black.

Definitely sand. That big, triangular shadow bothers me more than the sand.

maybe drag the shutter next time to pick up more of the ambient light vs the fill flash. ;-)

while you were correct in using the fill, it does not blend well and there is a distinct difference which affects the images negatively. Nice attempt though, pick up on the few details pointed out in this thread and make your next one more successful.
