I took this in programme mode; i noted that ISO was @4000.!!!!!!!

I paid the price!!!

You may have paid the price, but I actually really like it. The strong orange colors from the setting sun, as it sinks below the horizon, leaving the foreground lighthouse and palms trees in darkness, creates a very strong image.

Next time why not just set the max and min ISO range.

I took this image today itself @ Kovalam, Trivandrum- the capital of Kerala state, where upon i am on a four day visit

Thank you very much EDL; I am not that happy because i feel i could hardly achieve what i really saw there....
I have a doubt; why even at f/16 there is not enough sharpness for the distant palms????
