Hey im new to photography advice /criticism welcome.
Bought my Sony Alpha200 yesterday and im looking fo tips on photograpgy.

I really like the colors and cloud patterns in the sunset, but I think you need more in the foreground. The tiny bit of blacked out mountain or whatever it is just makes you want to see more of what is there. It looks like it would've been a good shot for an HDR also, I think.

I'm a beginner myself, but I'd say that for a beginner this is a really nice shot. The only photography advice I can give is to take lots and lots of pictures, as often as you can. That's the best way to improve. Read a lot, and if you're really serious and want to commit to something, join up with the mentor program here on the forum. I've joined the mentor program, and it's a great thing.

Thanks i was wondering wether to put a bit of the mountain in or not but in the end decided not to. i might consider that mentor thing though
