My only gripe with these is that in many you clipped the wings. I feel like that is a no-no, as people always ask me why i clipped the fins off in one of my fish shots. Still, amazing captures--especially the mouse ones.

Regards,
Jake

I too had a bit apprehension regarding the cutting of the wings; but what remains in the image is beyond my power of appreciation...now i am thinking what should i ask for?

Thats probably the one and only problem with having the 500 ,but its a problem that I can deal with. I appreciate the comments.

To me the clipped wings are a minimal concern. The intensity of the shot is fabulous. I see the owl's eyes or his talons, everything else is just icing. I love these. Thank you for sharing. You are so lucky to have the opportunity to see these guys in action.

I appreciate those kind words and thank you . And yes indeed I am very lucky to be able to witness this bird in action and get images of it .
