Sweet 16 Photoshoot

Yeah, I have all my pictures on Facebook but not on my flikr yet. I did a boudoir shoot with them too. You can PM me your name and I can find you on facebook if you want to look at them.

anyone else have any advice, input?

Your OP is a little over a week old now... but... how did the shoot go?

Yes, I agree. Pix or it didn't happen. ;)

Yes, I want to see what came out of this shoot. Sounded fun.

sorry guys the shoot wont be for another couple of months. I'm just trying to get things in order before hand. I also need to give myself some practice time. Thanks

why cant you just use curves adjustment layers if there is a few shadows to sort out?

you can eliminate a lot of work for yourself by just using a proper reflector and/or fill flash. Why not do it right in the first place?

If you're outdoors and it's daytime you'll be fine with 1 flash (for fill light) and a reflector. No need to go crazy. Hell you could probably get away without the flash if you wanted to.

well that is what curves is for isnt it, that sort of thing, create a layer mask adj curves or levels till your shadowy bit is about right, invert it then paint out the bits you wanted lighter
how about this, looks ok no?

Why not spend 2 minutes getting it right in camera instead of 2 hours post processing every single picture????

My only advise is if there is plenty on natural light, you should be good.

No need for a crazy lightning and reflector work when most shots will be candids anyway. try to put your hands on a long lens if you dont have one consider renting one, its cheap.
i would bring a couple flash, stands with umbrellas to take a few posed group shots or something.

I also always bring on sb-600 with my aurora bounce card (same setup as miss cream with her cardboard) and my aurora Aurora Mini/Max

Amazon.com: Cameron MINI/MAX FBC (Fan Bounce Card) 10.5 x 7.5" Bounce Card for Shoe Mount Flashes: Electronics
Amazon.com: Aurora MINI/MAX BHB (Big Honkin Box) 6" x 8" Soft Box for Shoe Mount Flashes: Electronics

the mini softbox has an opening you can open on the top so you can bounce the light if needed + it shoots though the softbox for fill.

Keep it simple
