After working 7 days in a row with some 12 hour days, I'm off to the South Island (live in New Zealand) for a 4-day weekend. If that wasn't enough, I just bought a Canon 20D that I am just itching to have a play with.

Only had a little hands on so far, but seems pretty easy to use, I have had a few film SLR's so there shouldn't be a huge learning curve, but this is my first DSLR.

Better be sunshine!

Back in a few days and hopefully have some pics worth putting up for y'all to have a squiz at - the South Island is beautiful. Mostly visiting the family though so dunno how long I will be able to shoot off with the camera for...
