Im good for the sat...i can prolly swing the sun at some point though if need be.

Any ideas on where we are all gunna meet up??? I haven't been to Sydney for yonks so it'll be a chance for me to take some pics of the skyline etc while i'm in the area.

why not come to Auckland? Only a three hour flight!

Mission Bay, is having a jazzfest here this weekend. we can hang out at my place i am only a minutes walk from the beach, cafes, movies and various alcholic places. Plus i have an air hockey table!

The weathers been nice and cool lately, not like that Sydney sauna you guys are going to!

Location...Hmmmm I'm pretty happy to go wherever, but Saturday daytime would be preferable as it's a couple of hours each way for me, and i'm on call on Sunday.
An easy and obvious meeting place would be good since it will be hard to pick out people who's faces are still a mystery (to a degree anyway). We could meet around the Quay somewhere and head out to the rocks, or a ferry to somewhere, but like i said i haven't been into Sydney itself for ages so if someone has a good meeting spot let us know. Basically i know Sydney's landmarks pretty well.

Actually I will be traveling to Sydney and beyond in Sept. any references, books web site etc. as to where I should visit for photo opps? I am interested in landscape and nature photos. Thanks.

Next questions......

What time is good for everyone? Early is cool as i am always up by 5am everyday and it's only a couple of hours to get there.

Also, where is the best/cheapest place to park for the day??? Anyone know????

well the nukester hasnt confirmed sat yet but i think he said it should be ok.

im easy for times, whatever time is easiest for you lucky, seeing as youre coming the furthest...lunchtimish?

being a sat anywhere around the rocks should have a flat rate. the hotel just past the overhead train bridge on george st has parking but im not sure how much it is. there are lots of carparks in adn around the rocks which should be about a $15 flat rate which is cheap for sydney...

Since when has 11:30 been early? Hasn't the sun already risen by then?

I'm considering making a huge day of it and going into the city for the sunrise, seeing what can be photographed then, meet n greet you lovely people, then party hard till the wee hours of sunday morning.
