Well, I lugged the camera stuff to the stadium for the first time Sunday being that MrsLWW didn't feel up to going.

Sadly my beloved Dayton Dragons took a beatdown from the hated West Michigan Whitecaps 10-0 ... so I played around a little and made a day of it anyhow.

These were some attempts at the old newsprint look from the sports pages of my youth:

At %/3 Field they always have an event between innings to keep things alive.

This one is the "BIG BABY RACE" where the wives race to see who can pull their "BIG BABY" around the bases the fastest.

It never ceases to amaze me what people will do to win a tee shirt.

Another is our mascot, the 7 foot 9 inch Heater getting bested in a tug of war match by a 4 foot 3 inch fan.

As well as our resident cheerleader Gem dancing on top of the dugout trying to get a rally started.

I did. That's one happy little dragon! I liked the one of the people in the grassy area too...lots going on, lots to look at - but not so busy that there was a cluttered feeling.

loved the wide-angle shot of the stadium too. nice.
