And no one else feels there is too much noise in the background leaves?

Ever since Vaporous mentioned the noise, and ever since I checked and found they were all three (of which you see only this one) taken at 1600 ISO, with the 1/400 sec./f5.6-ones considerably NOISIER than this one (1/125 sec./f9.0), I have wondered why this is so: why are the ones taken at a wider aperture and faster speed noiser than this one at a narrower aperture? Does anyone know?
