Just because it was shot with a cell phone does not mean it wont benefit from a tiny little bit of PP. Your shot was not bad but had some distracting elements in it. It also lacked in "drama" for me. I did a very fast crop and I think it turned out a little better. I am no expert though.

I see you cropped the cars out, and I understand why. However, I prefer it in landscape orientation. The lines from the pavement are lost in the crop, and I like the tred, which is cropped heavily. Cloning out the cars would be better, imho.

I agree as well. Like I said it was just a quick crop with nothing else. This was done on my work laptop and a slow arse mountain internet cell phone connection. I would be hard pressed to be able to clone out the cars on even my home computer. When/if you get a chance can you make an edit of it? I would like to see your skills. I have problems cloning things out and making it look natural.

With my crop I did like how the leading line of the sidewalk leads your eyes to the sun in the trees and past it.

Here's the best I managed to do. You see it's a little messed up at the left side, but the right turned out okay, unless you zoom much in, of course.

Ohh, and I saturated the grass a little. I think it made it richer.
