Taking a break

Not ideal in photography - I used to like shooting every day, or at least when I could.

Unfortunately I have broken my hand, and picking up my equipment is painful!!

I am still slowly working on my model railway layout so I can photograph the miniature things when it's built, but whatever else will I do to pass the time - 6-8 weeks during healing?

Arrgh!!

What do I do when I can't shoot or am uninspired? I edit!

Browse TPF
Browse Flickr
Browse Pinterest
Read
Surf Amazon for stuff I can't afford to buy
Surf KEH, B&H & Adorama for the same reason
Plan elaborate photography based vacations that I wont actually take because its expensive
Plan reasonable photography mini-vacations that I might take
Edit old photos
Make a list of places to shoot
...........

A wall was punched out of stupidity and frustration.

Unfortunately I hit the part of the wall which has a joist/beam.

The wall won.

Meh just sucks as we are headed to the coast this weekend - but, on the plus side, I can enjoy time with my gorgeous wife!

Hope you heal quickly. I would go nuts if I could not use my camera. On the plus side you have lots of time to play with photo editing. ;-)
