Tamron 10-24mm. Is it good?

I need to know if the lens is worth buying. It'll be mounted on my canon. Anyone use this? I really want to pick it up. Thanks

I have this lens for my Nikon. IQ is pretty good. Contrast is good. It's decently sharp. AF isn't bad, though a lens this wide doesn't generally have to move much glass to focus. Even though it's relatively slow at 3.3-4.5 (I think), you won't need VR as shutter speeds don't need to be terribly fast. If you don't need a lens this wide, consider looking at the 17-50 2.8. If you do, I think you'll be pretty well pleased with it, overall.

I'm currently using this lens on loan from one of my friends. I definitely love it but the quality ofcourse doesn't beat the Nikkor version. It's better than the Sigma though which I've tried as well. Here's some of my work with this lens:
