Taos Pueblo is approximately 1,000 years old and is the oldest continuously inhabited community in the United States.

2- The bell tower is from the original San Geronimo Chapel that was built in 1619 and is still standing in the cemetery.

but I do have got to ask..
Did you have a hard time with getting permission to photograph?

I Know alot of Tiwas and yes, its a wonderful place. Especially the roads and the build up of the area in traditional means.

The chapel has a solem aspect to it that I have always found compelling.

Did you see the the old cottonwood on the south side?
