Best resize it BEFORE you upload it. What post processing software do you use? I can only describe what I do in Photoshop: I resize each and every photo I want to present in the www to 800px wide (or high, if it is vertical), and save it at "10 - maximum" (but not "12 - maximum", that's too high a resolution). Thus uploaded into Photobucket, it will stay the very size I chose for it beforehand. Does that help you any?
