Paul's right - I used the Tamron 90mm macro. Camera was on a tripod, focusing was done using live-view, light exposure was set from manual meter in incident light mode.

Now, following suggestions from KenC and Doziergraphic, here's the edited version, with the left side cropped and the bird poop cloned out...

That little T1i sure takes a purdy picture. Nice work.

Credit should go to the Tamron 90mm macro lens (my guess), not the body.

Yeah, but contrast, color, resolution and noise I am sure helps a bit too. Until lenses start being able to take pictures by themselves, I think the T1i should get atleast a little cred too. For a rebel, thats a pretty nice shot.

VERY corny title though........mmmmm corn.....I could totally go for some corn and blackbean salad right now....
