Your writing REALLY confuses me but I will give you a suggestion. What you might want to do is when you hear a good set find out who is spinning and that should lead you to the music. You might even get a mix CD while you are there. In my younger days when I used to to go to parties I would get free CDs from almost every DJ I saw. If you see the guy/girl afterwards ask him/her of course you might want to tell them you like their set and make a little small talk first.
